:lmao:

I just have to give a big  to her and everyone that played up her story. SHE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING. She got caught, cause she screwd up. Then we had to send people in to save her. It happened thousands of times before her in many other wars. And it happened MANY times in this one. Why is she so special? Just like a cop randomly picking out a speeder, someone had to get picked.

Because things weren't going as well as America had hoped, and so they felt the need for a little propaganda.

Exactly. Has nothing to do with her or what she did/didn't do.

It was for media hype and she got picked!

it wasnt HER that screwed up. she was just part of it....and let me tell u...if that was ur sister or daughter or niece in her shoes, you wouldnt feel the same way, now would u? i'm damn proud of that girl. if that wouldve been me, i probably wouldve taken my own life before the U.S soliders even had the tip off of where i was. she deserved every bit of media attention she got. that was a girl MY age, just out of HS, like me, who, 1st of all, was not just in the service, she was actually fighting already....then she gets kidnapped by these animals and raped and beaten and God only knows what else. and she survived it. for YOUR country!! she didnt give up, because she was devoted and determined. she is one hell of a woman and i am so damn proud that there are woman, and men, like that fighting for our country. :usa: :bigok:

the only reason you give them  is because youre just tired of hearing about it. next time you make a jugdement like that, try to put urself in her shoes or her family's shoes...then maybe you'll look at it differently.

I ask again and again there is no real answer. What did she DO?

you can be proud of her and all that...but her receiving the attention she has now is not necessary. this situations happens again and again and again. its just something to be expected when serving in the armed forces. and her getting that purple metal of honor? :ugh:

if its to be made a big deal of, what happened to those that saved her?

i dun get it.

dude, you seriously have a bad attitude about it. just forget it. if you cant warm ur cold heart up for just a minute and realize what she was put through and that she made it out alive...then so be it. but that really sucks. i'd like to see YOU be put through the hell she was...you'd cry like a bitch and then you wouldnt be soo big and bad
