this girl was awarded the friggin Bronze Star. Now I dunno how many of you know how much of an award that is, but the way we do things in the Marines is, you need to really do some crazy shit to get a bronze star. Like if she was a Marine she def. wouldn't have gotten one unless she took out a few people and fought it out hard, but from what i hear she never fired a single round. The Army provided poor security and had piss poor planning. I'm 19 years old too and I was out there. I had rounds coming downrage toward me and I've seen bodies, but did I get any awards or nice shiney medals? No, i was doing my job. And she ended up screwing up and got props... wtf?
