Who has a Nintendo GameCube?
Who has a Nintendo GameCube? I'm buying one off a guy who played it like 3 times, for 50 bucks. Worth it?
I mean I work at a Video game store and all, but was just wondering what fellow HAN members think...

Yep worth it but from what I hear (rumor) it is on the slate to be discontinued....not sure how true that rumor is but either way its a good system and your saving 49 bucks.

the first thing i'm going to buy, is a GameBoy Player, so i can play my collection of GameBoy Advance games and original GB games. I wont buy anything else for quite some time thereafter, because i'm poor and shouldnt be spending money on video games...
Like nightshade said, i just wanna pick one up before it gets discontinued.

Nintendo has always been very proprietary about their equipment and program codes much the way Sega was so they lose a lot of favor in the coding community

A number of game developers have pulled their games out of the gamecube stock, and the other big names (EA for one) have cut down their allocated games for the system as well.
Its the same reason the Dreamcast failed, the lack of third party support. Most of the Dreamcast titles were developed by Sega, and its subsidiaries.
The same is slowly happening to the Gamecube.

I thought that Nintendo's recent price drop boosted sales of the GC? I even heard that they are going to include a disc that is a compilation of Zelda games to be bundled with the GC in time for the holidays.
