Who has a Nintendo GameCube?

Which I still don't think is the problem with Nintendo, they just need to get more games out, not necessary faster.
SNES
N64  PS
GC  PS2  Xbox
See a thrend? Nintendo thinks that by coming out first means they will beat the PS3 and Xbox 2 in sales. Unfortunately its the games that influences that. After two disappointing video game systems, I hope Nintendo makes me eat my own words.

The problem with Nintendo is that they're playing catch-up. They released the cube too little too late. If their gamecube release was within the same time as the PS2, then they might have had a chance, if not surpass the PS2 both in sales and third party support (maybe).

The GC definitely does not suck. :slap:
Yeah....I hate to tell ya Nintendo Fanboys this....but the Big N is slacking...
Though I must say that their next gen console may be something to fear if they learned their mistakes from the GC. The GC may have quality titles, but the PS2 and XBox have more quality titles, granted they also had more crap....haha
Anyway, I love my GC, but I still think that Nintendo made a huge mistake with the old Quality > Quantity stance and had delays after delays on the games. Sure people will wait for quality games, but for how long dammit? PS2 and Xbox are churning out crap faster, but their quality games are also coming out by the loads as well.
PSP? I doubt it can take on the GBA. The PSP is going to be expensive when compared to the GBA. It's still up for grabs, but I don't know if it can take on the King of Handhelds.

PS2 > GCN > XBOX
Its true that the GC lacks 3rd party support but they have a lot of 1st party games that'll stay in the gamecube for months.
PS2 has a lot of cool games but most of their games are bullshit. A lot of PS2's 3rd party games are random, meaning that they will never be a good game, they're just releasing it to brag that they have more games than the GCN and Xbox. Like last night, I went to best buy and browsed through the PS2 aisle and I realized that only a few of the PS2 games were worth buying. Not so with the GCN. When I browsed through Nintendo's games, even though there weren't as many games as the PS2, they had a lot of games worth buying. The ratio of quality games between the GCN and the PS2 is 2:1 IMO.
XBOX, I can only note a few games that I really want and thats Rainbow Six 3. It seems like Microsoft isn't showing much effort to boost XBOX's sales because you know why? They don't need to. They never needed an XBOX, they're a monopoly in the PC martket, why even bother going for the console market? They were ambitious, thats why.
Cliff Note: Quality > Quantity
Games considered worth buying:
PS2: GT4, GTA (bonus pack), Final fantasy X-2, FF XII, MGS3, Socom 2, THUG, SSX3, Time Crisis 3, NFSU
GCN: Mario Kart Double Dash, Mario party 5, new zelda, new mario, starwars rebel strike, F-Zero GX, NFSU
XBOX: Rainbow Six 3, halo 2...

If Quality truly did own Quantity then the sales numbers would show it and 3rd party support would be all over the GC platform.
You are right MSN didnt need the XBX at all but it was an opportunity to push gaming systems to the next level and they did that quite well.
The way the GC the PS2 and the XBX render are all different and unique unto themselves so graphics are going to be different on each platform.....but then graphics aren't anything if the games aren't fun.
Problem with that is each person has their own idea of what a fun game is. Some like FPS, some like RPG, some like Drivers, etc.
I am not nor will not say that one system owns over another because that is just stupid since it is all personal preference and which one deals more with your preferred gaming style.
I did however notice that when you listed the games worth owning for the GC, PS2, and XBX that your list was quite interesting:
Games considered worth buying:
PS2: GT4, GTA (bonus pack), Final fantasy X-2, FF XII, MGS3, Socom 2, THUG, SSX3, Time Crisis 3, NFSU
GCN: Mario Kart Double Dash, Mario party 5, new zelda, new mario, starwars rebel strike, F-Zero GX, NFSU
XBOX: Rainbow Six 3, halo 2...
PS2 you list a lot of FPS games...not the PS2s strong point but it is still acceptable for FPS games, then you listed the standards as well THUG, SSX, NFSU, GT4 which at some point everyone owns a copy of each of some member of those series games.
GC you listed almost exclusively kids games...now NES has always been the masters of kids gaming....but the market has grown in age immensely and they are not keeping up with the times very well. As for the Star Wars games....thats a whole other thread my friend.
XBX you picked it right (although I don't like Halo) but you found where the XBX excels at...FPS games (my favorite style), but you missed some key quality games. Also the one thing I do like with the XBX is that the graphics rendering is consistent through about 80% or better of their games.
Not saying any one of those systems is better just pointing out they are all good within their specialty platforms
