That being said, the TSX has a timing chain...not a timing belt. Therefore, the "drive belt" is really just the serpentine/accessory belt and nothing mission critical. If the price difference is enough to sway you, a napa/etc version is fine.

That was surprisingly gentle. Nothing wrong with my reading comprehension. No, not at all... :af:

some big upgrades since I last posted in here...

Whiteline Bumpsteer correction
Stoptech ST40 BBK front
Stoptech pads/front/rear
Stoptech rear H6 rotors
06 STi Master Cylinder
Grimmspeed MCB
Mishimoto TMIC/Inlet pipe
AEM CAI
ID1000 injectors
DW301 fuel pump
re-tune

Best I could muster was a 14.3 @ 99 mph with a gentle 2.3 second 60 ft in 90 degree weather. I think I'll go for broke next time out. All I want to do is break into the 13s a few times and trap over 100mph.

Currently wrenching on a 1988 Land Cruiser.

To do list:
re-wire ARB lockers and relocate switches to dash
swap lokar shifter for winters shifter (will require building a custom center console)
Revamp brakes, replace suspension
Swap 350 tbi for a 383 vortec :rick:
Paint, lol

Any tips for welding mild steel to cast? I gotta weld up an EGR tube to the exhaust manifolds since the vortec doesn't have EGR ports built into the heads/intake manifold like the old TBI. Can't use the vortec exhaust manifolds because they don't get along with my motor mounts.
