that's the general consensus. that or there was p2v contact and the valve head broke off. gonna pull the intake manifold tomorrow and take a quick peek.

Here's a question for you guys who still work on hondas. My wife's TSX needs a drive belt tensioner. Is this something I should buy from the Acura parts desk, or would a rock auto/napa/whatever tensioner be sufficient?

i always stick to oem for things like tensioners, belts, etc. sure it costs more but you cant beat oem when it comes to things like that.

While I'm out of the Honda game, I agree. It's mission-critical hardware on an interference engine.
