sorry but if you dont want bad things to happen to you dont get drunk..she was in control of that, we're not stupid we all know the consequences of drinking..he was probably drinking too and my guess the aligations didnt come up till after the pregnacy was discovered...it sounds to me like alcohol is being used as the excuse here..im not saying no wrong was done but dont ruin this guys life because unless you were there you dont know what went down...she may be your sister but that doesnt mean shes tellign yuo everything.i cant say to much becasue i dunno if this guy is sleezy or not but just realize its always easier to blame your mistakes on other when possible

Regardless of whether he "got her drunk" or not, she should've been more responsible not to drink around somebody she doesn't trust....unless of course she did it all on purpose, and is now using the whole "he got me drunk" excuse to cry rape so she doesn't look like a slut.

Ouch, but how would she know that being drunk that night would get her raped. That's like saying no girl should get drunk because they'll always be in risk getting raped, which is slightly true for some cases. It also sounds like she knew the guy but not very well. Face it, she didn't want to have sex, she was forced to. It doesn't matter if she was drunk or not, she wasn't willing. If a girl is intoxicated, that doesn't mean you can take advantage of her. That's just soo wrong.

but i would say it would be too late to bring rape charges, the sister still can but usually you have to collect evidence within a certain time frame. so the case will be weak, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't do it.

also which state is she in and how old? if she is under aged (by statute) he will be charged with statutory rape.
