PC geeks ... is this a good mb/processor setup?
http://www.tufshop.com/store/product654.html
MEMORY
3 DDR DIMM sockets support
3 2.5V DDR SDRAMs (DDR333) or
2 2.5V DDR SDRAMs (DDR400, conditional)
Maximum: 3GB (2GB only for DDR400, conditional)
i like the fact that there are 3 DDR sockets on there, but i'm not sure if i'll ever get up to 3GB. there are cheaper boards with the same cpu, but those are limited to 1GB of ram.
also ... what's the difference between these?
PC2100
PC2400
PC2700
PC3000
PC3200
what would be good for this setup?
thanks

I'd personally get an Asus A7V8X-X and an AMD Athlon XP 2200+ processor. Lot more reliable, a tad bit more expensive but its atleast not a Celeron.
All those PC numbers are bus speed. Get 2100 as any higher speed doesn't do much unless you are into extreme gaming or 3d stuff. But if you can find them for a decent price go for it.

Want to hear a trick? The ONLY difference between Athlon and Duron is an extra data path on the CPU and you can add it yourself with a #2 pencil. No joke.
The difference is what you listed is the speed of the RAM.

hmmm ... now that i think about it ... i'm pretty much clueless when it comes to mb's. could you guys postup links to these package deals? i'm definately going to order by tomorrow
axemansean $135 is right around my range. i need to keep it below $150 because i also have to get DDR chips.
