Have you ever driven it :eh:

I find the RX-8 a tad ugly. I don't know why. I love the Miata and 6 styling, but the RX-8 doesn't appeal to me at all. the S2000's chiseled and timeless lines are much more attractive IMO.

If we're comparing engines, the S2000's owns the RX-8's. S2000 is much faster and handles better tol. But the RX-8 is more comfortable to live with everyday and has those two backseats. It all depends on what you're looking for.

He didn't ask what the best car was for 30 grand, he posed a hypothetical comparison between the S2000 and RX-8.

Better car for the money? I happen to think the G35C is a better car than the 350Z, S2000 and RX-8 for the money. That is if I had to buy one for every day use in the spring/summer/fall. If it's weekend use only, S2000.

the 350Z is the same class of car as a S2K and RX-8 and costs about the same, why not mention it??? that's like saying i'm looking at the accord and camry, but not even considering the mazda 6 or altima.

Because he didn't ask, that's why. He's not buying one or the other, he's posing a hypothetical question designed to spur discussion of some sort on the basis of a comparison between the S2000 and RX-8.

well hypothetical car buying questions are dumb anyways and are open to interpretation. personally why even ask that question on a honda board, you know what the bias is going to be for. a truely wise person can answer the unasked question and not be biased in his thought.

Hey, let's not fight around this. The 350z was already out apart due to styling and previous experience with Nissan I had, but I am still open minded if anyone want to convince me.

To be honest, I was more looking into a sporty passenger (/*sedan*) car. The evo and sti are out of the league because I just don't want to get a high performance/racy car.

I got it nailed down between the TSX and the RX-8 which are on different levels. I just wanted you to rate the RX-8 compare to the oh magnificient S2000. :dunno:

TSX $28G Fully loaded
Excellent passenger/luxury car.
May needs a more punchy engine.

S2000 $31G Fully loaded
Back seats?

RX-8 $31G Fully loaded
Would be the middle child.. peppy engine, back seats...

350z over $32G depending of your packages...
see S2000

Well?
