Anyone has link to very detailed reviews, specs and pics on the RX-8?

Someone has been arguing about the RX-7 being extremely reliable if you treat them well. Not sure what to believe.

and RX-7 will run forever if loved (i've seen non-turbos well past 300k many times) the 3rd gens have a bad rap because they had some cooling problems that lead to housing warping (due to some poorly placed extra catalytic converters (pre-cat right next to housing is main culprit))

The FD RX-7 is in fact a money pit but it has the driving dynamics to make up for it. To some people at least. But yeah it's pretty easy to pop the motor with the kind of horsepower levels it's capable of in turbo form.

Like Beav said, the non turbo rotaries last for a way long time. I wouldn't be concerned about the reliability of the RX-8.
