***sorry, not sure where i was supposed to post this.
Am i able to color the dashboard kit? If so, what kind of paint do i use to color it? Im planning to make it a dark forest green. (hah! bet youve never seen that!) thanks

http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthre...stic+polishing please dont paint the interior red or something. here is a link to polish your plastic trim pieces. in the end it will be shiny and constanly be one solid color.
if you are good enough, a simple can of spray paint will do the job, but no matter wat, its going to chip or bubble on you eventually, destroying your dash and panels. you can try vinyl too that works better than paint. also there fiberglassing.
just shine everything up rlly good id go with that tech...i was gana do it on my 95 accord (paint the interior) but i was like nahhh itll chip and eventually look like shit...the ones u see on like car domain all painted nicely are most likly profesionally done and cost a lot..
question on that polishing link. i have some kinda white looking smear on my head lights and i cant take it off. if i sand it, wont the headlight turn all like, whitish? i see on that link, the head light turned out all nice. im just going from common sense but it seems like if you sand the headlights, itll have like that plastic rubbish stuff and it wont be see through anymore.
Don't paint your dash, you will regret it... and it de-appareciates the cars value even faster....
but if you are fully set on doing it, krylon paint will do, prep everything correctly, sand, and primer, then apply light coats...
you will regret it though

sorry about the late response on the polishing plastic......what you are thinking of is what is referred to as "satin finish" yes if you take sand paper to a plastic piece (or even metal) you will see lines. the trick is to get really fine sand paper (higher the grit the better) and then use a polishing cloth or buffing wheel to bring out the shine.
