Llumar is the best way to go. nationwide lifetime warranty. i believe only authorized tint garages are allowed to use the stuff.

Yup, illegal in Cali to have tint in the front, but many ppl get away with it, even me. However, if you get stopped and they are having a bad day or you have done something wrong, or give them s--t, then beware. Also, a traffic cop is more likely to give you sh-- than a regular patrol crusier. It could also give an officer probable cause to start looking around for other things....I've had some good experiences, and some skank nasty ones too.

"5% tint so you cant see up in my window"...yea, that's what i got, havent been pulled over once...i live in Houston, TX and they really dont give a shit, i've even been at a red light to have a cop pull up next to me and even try to look inside, then he just drove off without giving me any shit ...either it was a lazy ass cop or they really dont care around here

35% on all the side glass.
The rear window is 20%.

The wife's TSX goes in for tint next Friday. I'm planning 20% on the rear window and rear doors. 55% on the front doors.

Coupes just have too little window in the qtr glass to change shades on the side IMO.

your in California, same as me.
For this state its no tint on the drivers side and passenger side windows.

But I've seen enough people do it that I'm considering it.
Go very light! and if your pulled over for a traffic citation,
pull over promptly, and
get both windows down quickly before you've stopped
and CO-OPERATE nicely and they'll usually overlook low-grade gimme's for extra violations.
