alright, ive decided to go with flat black slipstreams, they are my original favorite... but what size should i get? 15" or 16". ive heard that with 16" you have slower acceleration, but how noticable is it?

16s aren't that bad with accel, as long as they're not heavy. But then again, the record-effect comes into play.... not the actual technical term, mind you (I don't know it h: ), but the gist is that the futher from the center of a circle, the longer it takes for mass to travel, like on a record, or the solar system, whatever. The inside doesn't travel near as far.

with the weight being further out (and since 16s do weigh a bit more than 15s, typically), its only natural that 16s would make you slower than 15s, but unless you're riding on some heavy-ass 16s, you won't really notice it that much. (the 16s I used to rock weighed 27lbs a peice, so I noticed, both in accel and in top speed)

I will admit that 16s do look perfect on the 96-00 (proportion-wise), but my take is that the car was designed with 15s in mind. And again, the rotors fill more of the gap with 15s, for obvious reasons....
