Default BIG Decision! Need your input.

I'm looking for new rims/tires. I like Rota Slipstreams and 99-00 SI rims. Ive priced them out, and found that... brand new...

16" Flat black slipstreams w/ toyo proxes 4: $861 shipped
99-00 SI w/ kumho ecsta asx: about $930 + shipping

both include mounting/balancing. if i get the slips, i will have to change back to my ex hubbies for the winter also, if i were to get the si rims, i might paint them gunmetal. now, these prices are BRAND NEW. no used. ive tried that and ive been screwed... lol.

my current setup is black 00 civic, gunmetal headlights, front type r lip, si grill, tinted windows, and soon clear s2000 sidemarkers and suspension lowered about 1.5f, 1.3r. so, the big question is....

What do you think is more sexier?

I think that you should go with either a set of Rota Grids or Rota GT3's in 16x7", +40mm offset with 205/45/16 tires. Either wheels are available in black spokes with polished lip. Those would look great on your car.

silver grids (16") with a polished lip would look hot... also, i have Si rims, and i think they are cool too, but its up to you. dont get black rims on a black car IMO, it looks good on really really expensive cars, but i think the silver GT3's would look really hot, and black would compliment the silver in the rims, and you'd have a polished lip too. whatever you choose, happy hunting bro

Black on black is hot, just not with Slipstreams, they're too played out.

si's, slips, and grids are all played out :fawk: :reechy:

16's would definatly be doable on your car, but if you're on a budget, 15s arn't bad, either. I personally perfer the 15s, since I like some some meat on my tires. and they don't make the rotors look all tiny :deek:

ever consider c8's or c10's? bronze would look nice
