ive got a 2000 civic ex and im planning on getting some sidemarkers. problem is, i dont know what kind would look good on my black civic. i have diy gunmetal headlights, and will hopefully soon be getting black slipstreams. what color sidemarker should i get (clear/amber) and where would be the best place to buy them? also, how do i go about installing them? thanks alot!

 

i think you should go with the JDM amber ones they would look nice on a black car IMO

do a search on www.JDMcivic.com, thats where I got my instructions.

most tuner shops will install them. Thats what I did (I'm a pussy when it comes to drilling my 1/4 panels h: )

btw, my suggestion.... with the gun metal lights, the amber will look good, but you might want to consider changing your tails to 96-98 tails (with amber).

if you want to keep the red/clears, get SiR sidemarkers on ebay, or perhaps the smoked sidemarkers from the s2000?

 

The clear OEM s2000 side markers would look good in my opinion since you have red/clear tails.

 

alright, im planning on buying those sidemarkers^... but ive only found ones that only come with the bulb and cover, no wiring or anything. how would i go about wiring them?

 

JDM Amber Sidemarkers IMO

 

I agree. I think clear would look terrible on a black car. The amber would be subtle and not scream at you. jmo
