Default Dual Exhaust?

I got a body kit and it has places for dual exhaust. I think it doesn't look right to have places for dual exhaust and only have single exhaust. So my question is should I get dual exhaust(which will make me lose horsey power), or regular single pipe exhaust and buy a matching muffler and just have the look of dual exhaust. Or should I just get regular exhaust and not even worry about it? Thanks for your input

look of dual exhaust definatly or leave it the way it is... but i dont recommend the actual duals becasue they do take away horsepower . some guy i went to school with though his car was suppsoeed to have dual exhausdt because he bought a kit made for his civic that had two cut outs. what most people do is run a false pipe back to the other pipe that doesnt have any function but looks like two exhaust pipes

get the look....fake pipe plus exhaust don't really go dual cause u'll lose ur backpressure and stuff....i say make it look real but actually fake no one would ever know unless u told them...just front it and make sure it stays on IMO that's the best u could do

well you could sell your bumper and buy a new one that only has 1 spot(if it hasn't been put on yet)?? that might be too much of a hassle though...i'd prob get another fake tip and j/ make sure it doesn't look ghetto..i dont know

Okey dokey, I have decided to go with the look of dual exhaust I think, but now I need to decide what exhaust I wan't. I like the ride of the week(guggans car) exhaust but I don't really want it to be that big. I would like two pipes on each side to keep with the whole prelude thing. I would really appreciate your info and pics. Thanks much, Morgan

I would encourage you to first decide what pipes will look good in the cutouts and if you want help deciding post pics or a link to a site where we can see the bumper . As for performance loss with duals its all in how you make the exhaust.
