You won't lose hp if you get it done at a reputable exhaust shop. I have the dual exhaust set up and it runs clean. If its done right it'll work, I mean look at the s2000 its a four banger w/ dual exhausts.

Okay, look at the s2000's Horsepower...

The only way true duals would work on a low 100 horsepower car would have to be smaller piping after the split ( y pipe ). Getting a dummy muffler just to fill the slot would look nice but noticable at times ( IE flooring it and when it's cold outside and you only see one pipe emmiting heat ).

I def would like to see the dyno numbers before and after the set-up.

The S2000's dual exhaust is for style, not performance. I won't help performance at all, it'll probably hurt it. Any time you have a y-pipe welded/installed, then it's going to make the exhaust more restrictive.

just get a stock bumpers back with a lip kit. best looks, durability, and hey, one exhuast cut out! if you must go with a rice kit, then just patch it up, you already spent enough $$$ on ur kit, y not more?

I doubt it's for style, honda would not list a car at around 30k and have something just for "style." It's a performance mod by honda and not everytime you have a y-pipe is it restrictive it all depends on the application
