I can appreciate both ends of the spectrum but i myself personally lean towards a clean looking show car Full lip kit but not overly agressive body kit

To me its more of myself walking on the edge of a blade. I like the OEM look so people think its stock. However i do like how some kits look on the car.

My car right now is OEM. I have 2 bodykit bumpers sitting in my garage. I cant decide which one i want yet. Or even if i want the aftermarket one or just get another OEM bumper with a CTR lip *I got in an accident BTW so the bumper is messed up*

basically though i think it all depends on the persons style and taste. Some like the OEM look because it keeps the car looking clean and some like the aftermarket look because it makes the car stand out from the crowd. and hell some like myself mix and match.

So, regarding the 'JDM style' I was very put out yesterday by a local kid that called me about a slew of JDM items.

He's a ricer, plain and simple. He bought a body kit from me a while back and has 2 sets of fog lights on his car with the LED squirters and the freakin' Type-S rear-view mirror - you get the picture. :happysad:

Anyhow, he calls me yesterday and asks me where he can get the JDM stuff. I said, 'why, you getting into the JDM look now?'. He said he got in a wreck and wants to go all JDM now and that he can't 'stand the ricers' around town. I said ':eh:, you are a ricer... ' :chuckles:
He said 'ya, I used to be, but now I'm going all JDM. I just got those JDM black housing headlights and...'
I interrupt and say 'man, there are no 5th gen JDM black housing headlights, you got them off ebay didn't you?'
he says, while backpeddling as fast as possible 'oh.. ya... I know... I meant JDM style'
I said ''

Anyway, where I'm going with this is that I prefer the JDM look because it's subtle and the parts actually fit. It's also something that not many people down here in the rotten.. I mean, dirty south see much of. It made me feel like a ricer with all my JDM stuff... so... violated.
