The front one is going to be the biggest pain. The Side neons and rear are up high enough even on a significantly lowered car that they wont get hit. The front one sits so low because there is very little space to mount it. It will still be exposed to the elements and road debris. As far as them getting dirty, they do but it doesnt really affect the lighting as far as i remember

Dont get OPTX what ever you do. Those sucked tremendously

I ended up mounting the front one in my grill. I used black masking tape to mark off the areas where you could see the actual LED lights, blends in very well, and if you had wire mesh in your grille, you wouldn't see it anyways. I drive on quite a few gravel/shitty holes/etc roads, and although my car isn't lowered I've never had a problem. I do recommend using tie straps instead of the clips they give you.

In the front grill it will just illuminate out of the front wont it? The plastic guard is underneith and that blocks the light from going down doesnt it?

Actually, CCFL tubes (neon) have that problem, take a look at some LED tubes on eBay if you've never seen them, you can actually angle the light any way you feel like it. I've got my side ones angled in slightly so there's more beam under the car as opposed to the outer rim of the car, it's no secret that my grill area lights up, but it also reaches the ground with no problem.

I'm not necessarily slamming it, I just don't understand it so I thought I'd ask. h:

Ya, people don't like that my lips/skirts are black... that's the only gripe I've really had. :dunno:
