stock times for s2000
doesnt kill vtec you could say but it also does. there are so lower cams in there but now i have my vtec engage much earlier and much stronger. it feels much better when driving hard but it makes it feel even more pure breed race car with them i like it :wiggle:
haha.whatever you say big guy...I ran it,I got the numbers...sorry if you dont like it.I'm not gonna sit here and argue about it.Those of you who wanna know real numbers can choose whatever you want.
The very last Car and Driver comparo was:
0-60 5.5
1/4 mile = 14.0 @ 100
But of course the new 2004 model .. by the way, it came in 2nd overall loosing for a lotus elise (well ,,, it was realy good ... i guess)

Obviously, an S2000 equipped with VTEC killer cams will have a very different idle, and actually not make much power below ~5500 RPM. In fact, you are losing power below this RPM range compared to stock because of the cam profile. You are essentially in VTEC at all times, so you won't feel any type of "engagement." The advantage to this is a removal of weight from the valvetrain, since you can take out the third rocker arm, LMA's, etc.
