It's not that bad, at least to me. Just a big higher, 500rpm or so...you'll be at 4500k-ish instead of 4000. I find the droning worse with the top down. h:

werd, i just htink it kind of defeats it's roadster appeal... but then again it'a also a sick little machine

coming from the mouth of a person who has owned a Z4, a M3, a AP1 a 05 TL and about 4 million and counting tricked out race circuit worthy jettas: "i wish i never sold my honda"
but you already knew how awesome it was i'm sure

Thanks, I think I remember you from 2-3 years ago when I had my white 00 civic ex-t with leather interior etc. It was the ride of the month once.

Anyways, I drive a black M3 now and Grand Prix White 00 S2000

I just have the 02 top/rear glass window, 02 clutch, ricks center console, mingster Xbrace, Muz whiteline front sway bar, and aftermarket stereo. It's mostly just an autocross car, i'm done with drag racing.

Yeah...from what I heard, 70mph with the 4.57's puts you at about 4250 rpm in an AP1. It might get a little loud with aftermarket exhaust, but I figure it should keep you from getting speeding tickets on the freeway. :rick:

Yeah I remember those days in KS...funny how we both went the same route with the Euro and S2.

What's your other car (euro)?

Also is your S Ap1 or Ap2? Do you go on s2ki? I frequent that forum quite a bit now along with bimmerforums.

Check out my signiture. I found this on streetfire and added it to my sig. This is why after exhaust im going with the 4.57R. You might have to download Macromedia Flash to see it, I had to anyway.

That's a great video. Got any of a stock AP1 vs a stock AP2? I'm curious to see the difference.

You'll see no gains with bolt ons. Blower or custom fabbed turbo kit. 2006's are going to be a little more work now with the drive by wire and non returnable fuel system.

I've seen people making 220+ whp with bolt ons. :dunno:

It's hit or miss though...need the right combo. But instead of buying a header for like $800, I'd rather get some gears.
