Why are you doing burnouts? I've heard the differential in the s2000 does not hold up well to shock loads from dumping the clutch. It's not going to light up when you just stomp it going 5 mph in gear like a V8 because it has totally different charecteristics.
Posi is something old American cars and trucks had back in the day that locks the two wheels together permanently so that the power is always split 50/50. Mostly only good for off road use because it wears the tires very quickly on the road and makes the car difficult to steer and squeal around corners.

heh.. i dont know where you see camaros for sale for less then s2k's. i saw a 93-97 model SS (forget the year) going for 25k with 65k miles and it was almost 10 years old.. ive seen plenty s2ks near the 25k range in my area.. and the 98-02 z28's are still going for 30k an up..
