I had a few run runs with RX8's in the highway, never lost with my "fancy package and intake"

ah you both drive tegs, and yes the RSX is really a teg.
honestly i hope your whooping more 12 and 13 second cars with your turbo gsr as opposed to 14 and 15 second cars like the RSX-S and prelude vtec.

Doubtful, Mazda has it's hands full with the single turbo Mazdaspeed 6 at the moment.

 

I was just trying to prove a point. I don't want to dis the RSX because they are pretty cool but a guy coming on here and saying his "stock" rsx will kill an RX8 is just plain ridiculous.

 

the RX in RX-8 stands for Rotary Experimental...and the S2k would beat the RX-8

 

wow, didnt know a turbo GSR would whoop me in a race Dont know why your getting all defensive after I just made a comment about taking RX8's not turbo GSR's. Anyway, a more fair race would a cybernation stage 1 turbo RSX and turbo GSR and lets see the outcome of that one. Waiting til my warranty runs out....

 

btw did you ever see a dyno chart for the RX8's? Even though they are rated at 238 hp i saw a dyno that showed the rx8 making 172 to the wheels which is about the same as the rsx.. (though i also heard its hard to get an accurate dyno on one). auto rx8's are easy kills for the RSX while the 6spd is almost neck to neck from a roll and this has been done many times stock to stock

 

ive been singing that song since the RX8 was released, 238HP my ass. Regardless of the high points of that car, the out-of-box performance sucks plain and simple. Ive never had a challenge racing that car, i dont see how a Type-S can lose to it if i dont and like i said i beat some Type-S's and some beat me so its probably a hondata thing . Either way i would be embarrassed to race my RX8 if i owned one.
