I'm a noob, i have an rsx-s. Help me please!
Try to be realistic about how you want to drive your car. Some people think they can turn their dailey driver into some sort of race car when in reality it really isn't that. In my opinion, if you want to make your car a pretty damn fast street car, then just buy a bolt on greddy turbo kit instead of having a totally custom made kit. Also, be realistic about how much hp you want. In most cases, the more horse power and torque the more problems you're going to have.
The Jackson Racing supercharger is a good alternative too. Look into that and then decide for your self.

Full race turbo for a self proclaimed noob?
IMO the best thing you can do is spend a LOT of time researching forced induction, deciding if you're willing to take the relaiblilty hit, and in the meanwhile saev the cash and put some of it to drivers training/racing school/auto-x/etc.

$4729 for a kit thats good up to 450hp(and thats really limited by the turbo)
and full race main sellng point is their tubular manifold...heres the link if you want to check it out
http://www.full-race.com/catalog/pro...roducts_id=825
but as mentioned decide what you want out of the car...n/a...forced induction....what kind of hp/tq numbers you want....do you like just the 0-60mph sprints or are you a top end/rpm lover...all of these can decide which way you wanna go
IMO if you dont want much more than 250-300whp go with a supercharger cuz you are really gonna have blast of a car to drive....just take a look at this dyno from hondata.com
318whp from a 03 rsx-s k20a2 w/
jackson s/c running 7psi(3.4" pulley)
550cc injectors
CAI
edelbrock wet kit 70hp shot
toda header
dc catback
hondata kpro
http://www.hondata.com/dynok20a2superchargednos.html
but much more than 300whp go with a turbo...even if your not wanting alot of hp you can go with a turbo but depending on what you like more low end or mid to top end power....altough if you properly match the turbo and get a smaller turbo (like a gt25 ball bearing) turbo lag will be minimal
and im almost 100% he was speaking of Full Race the company....not to bust you but how you gonna call the original poster of this thread a nOOb when you ddnt know about Full Race? just stating the facts bro :werd:
He called himself a noob in the title, which is why I said he was a self proclaimed noob.
And I don't really follow turbos that much anymore either. I couldn't even tell you if and when the Guardian is better than the K-Pro. I used to know that.
My not knowing the brands or not is slightly irrelevant because my point still stands. I'm not looking at turbocharging my RSX.
If you're new to cars and stuff, going turbo right away isn't the best idea (do lots of research because aftermarket turbos decrease reliability no matter how well made), especially a very powerful kit.
