I'm a car salesman... And I'm also an enthusiast... Are you saying I'll tell you anything?

Well, thank god I don't work for Honda or Acura

the only reason why the type r is not in the states already is because the type r engine requires a higher octane fuel with less sulfur in it which the states cant get due to its retarted emmissions standards. should honda release anything remotely like the type r in the states itll merely be the type s engine with MAYBE 10 more hp squeezed out of it.

This is mainly incorrect. The reason it is not here yet is because Honda perceives it will end up doing more harm than good for brand image and/or they're waiting for RSX sales to dip considerably.

Keep in mind Japanese gas is overated...their 100octate=our 92octane, for instance. As far as I know, the G4 ITR requires the same gas as the RSX-S.

My friend went to the Honda dealer to look at the S2000. He pulled up in his BMW M Roadster. The salesman tried to convince him that the S2000 would eat his BMW alive. :eh:

Salesman dunno jack about the cars they sell. My friend was looking at a sohc del sol, and the salesman came over and said it has 160hp. talk bout do some research.

My friend is an engineer at honda corp, and they currently have NO plans to bring over the type R next year. He said it will most likely come out, but not for another 2-3 years.

There will be minor reductions on weight such as no moonroof, but I think it will most likely have AC.
