thats true... but the spooling of a turbo is more recognizable than the whine of a s/c.... plus theres not that many s/c RSX-s around so i figured i'll go in a different direction. now i've been looking at the Comptech s/c and theres a bunch of different models... K-pro upgrade, with and without ECU re-flash... whats the difference with them all?? also, whats the instal time on one? would it be a weekend job and ready for driving on a monday sorta thing? i really want to do this on my own... btw... are there any meets happening any time soon? my bro is constantly going to accord meets but i dont see many rsx meets on here.

Both of them are very distinctive in sound, but a basic turbo setup will be quieter than a supercharger because of the exhaust restriction. If you recirculate the blow off valve into intake piping, you won't hear it between shifts.

Supercharger options are crap on Hondas. A turbo will be way more efficient at power and there is a lot more aftermarket support for turbo setups over supercharged setups.

Spanking a 350z doesn't take much. They are slow, heavy cars.

Focus on making it look sleeper for now and then focus on making it sound sleeper later.

superchargers on 4bangers are not worth the time or effort.

learning about turbos is hard, they are really a serious peice of engineering-- just take your time.
