06 RSX immobilizer issues
I'm new to this forum, sorry for the long post.
I have had my 06 rsx base model (bought used) for over a year now, it had a 6 speed installed by the previous owner which had problems with third gear. Couple weeks ago I finally decided to go ahead and put the stock 5 speed transmission back in.. It went well and I was about to back it out the driveway and boom.. it died and the green immobilizer key light starts flashing. So I decided my only options were to go hondata or have the ecu reflashed/ bypass the immobilizer. Long story short , neither of those things worked. Still won't start, I even ran a wire to the fuel pump and it actually started once with the reflashed ecu... then died immediately when I went to back out of the driveway and still won't start up... back to square one again...
My question is could it be a wiring problem? Or is there something I'm missing? Mechanically everything is fine.

A car that turns over but won't start can generally be narrowed down to one of two things: fuel or fire. You're either not getting fuel (Hondas are notorious for bad fuel pumps) or you're not getting spark (timing or ignition system).
The immobilizer won’t stop the engine from cranking, but will turn off fuel and spark, so you’d get a crank no start. I’d make sure you attached the starter sense wire and make sure it has good connection (it’s unplugged in one of the pics you just posted). Then I’d do what the other guy said and unplug the transponder because that’s what actually commands the key light to flash or not, and with the immobilizer turned off with the tune, the unit is gonna freak out because it’s not getting a signal from the ECU that the key matches.
