if that's the case, get the teins, and keep your stock exhaust. The suspension will make a much bigger difference than the catback. (depending on what you're planning to do)

i was gonna get an RS-R but i realized that i don't want to spend that much money (yet) and would rather have Tein HA's instead, so that's what i done did.
Agreed, the power increase from a catback is minimal and the performance upgrade from a good set of coilovers is huge. Leave the exhuast alone and do the suspension, a universal muffler will wind up costing more later when you dont like the sound or starts to look like crap and you replace it again.

oh i forgot
the exhaust was the last thing i put on since i never like the noise anyways...... but my friends kept on harassing me since i already have a DC Stainless 4-2-1 header and a flowmaster high-flo catalytic converter
i didn't mean for it to sound like it was from the exhaust alone

Just my opinion.. but exhaust noise isn't worth the power increase unless you're going all-out, boosted cars especially.

I went ebay muffler with "custom" muffler-shop 2.5 inch piping. Gains about the same as any other catback, but I wish I would have paid more for something that makes less noise.

No exhaust for my next car, definitley.

I'd go with suspension mods first,in my opinion.I think you'll be happier with the results instead of "making due" with some half-assed muffler.

if you want to go with the low profile look, but still get noticable gains, you can always look into the RS-R EXMAG exhaust. its the original one with the black muffler and 4" angle cut tip.
