how fast can the prelude be?
hence my qualifying term, generally.
i agree, i bet a 4000 lb car with the right setup and a good driver can be driven faster than a 2000 lb car with a mushy suspension and a bad driver.
we all know that a whole bunch of things tend to be true in "theory" but in practice are debunked, being that there are a million different factors that aren't being accounted for.
i am quicker than, and slower than, any number of Si's and GSr's and ITR's on a given day.

auto x is great, 1/4 is great too. i love them both because my car does good in both:thumbup:

not really... not as much as some people do. i chose to run proper fuel management instead of building a block that can withstand detonation.

12's, if you can hit 12's why are you so secretive???
with traction, you can get into the 12's with 10-12psi...it's not a big deal....traction is the biggest issue....hitting 12's isn't super hard, but hitting 11's might be on a street setup....but i'm gonna do it....i'm also building my block, because after owning a lot of turbo cars, detonation is inevitable when driven daily in our summer heat/humidity.....the money spent on the extra "insurance" is worth it to me

Well i have the auto prelude... the tranny was built by velocity resources theve done all my work on the car... the clutches, the torque converter was sent out and rebuilt, and i also have a 3k rpm stall for launching... Overall the build with labor was like 2000 bucks but when ur puttin 260+ to the ground you need it.. on slicks i hit 12s pretty easy and keep in mind im only on 12 psi with stock internals so theres alot more room to upgrade...
