A couple hundred might cover about half the labor time! You need to buy the manual trans. which will be between 500.00-800.00 (depending on mileage). Then you will need to replace the clutch -- never trust a cluch when buying an old transmission! That's another 200.00. Add for cutting and fitting for the clutch pedal, cable, starter switch, brake pedal, and parts for center console..... not to mention the main deal to remove engine/trans., driveline, etc. I'd say a conservative est. of $2000.00. Unless your dad is a Honda master technician!

It's not worth it. My advice is to just get the automatic, keep it till you don't have to abide by mom and dad's rules, then get your own manual trans. car. Cutting and hacking to put a stick into a car that was built for an auto will severely affect its value.... don't forget, the vin number is for that of an automatic, so when you try to sell it, people will wonder. Belive me, they won't want a car that's been shimmyed with that extensively. If you put $2000.00 into it for conversion, you may only get $850.00 when you sell it. Bad investment.

How old are you? Sounds like you're under 18, if you're living with parents and you have to get what they want you to get. I don't think they'll let you do that to your car, anyway. I wanted a stick, as well, when I was 16. But my Mom can't drive it, and the car was more of a third car for the family than my own. So I had to drive what I was given, a 1985 Buick Regal. My first stick was my Prelude, after I had graduated, moved out, got a real job, and learn how to drive stick. Just be patient, you'll get one when the time is right.
