A couple hundred might cover about half the labor time! You need to buy the manual trans. which will be between 500.00-800.00 (depending on mileage). Then you will need to replace the clutch -- never trust a cluch when buying an old transmission! That's another 200.00. Add for cutting and fitting for the clutch pedal, cable, starter switch, brake pedal, and parts for center console..... not to mention the main deal to remove engine/trans., driveline, etc. I'd say a conservative est. of $2000.00. Unless your dad is a Honda master technician!
