How old are you? Sounds like you're under 18, if you're living with parents and you have to get what they want you to get. I don't think they'll let you do that to your car, anyway. I wanted a stick, as well, when I was 16. But my Mom can't drive it, and the car was more of a third car for the family than my own. So I had to drive what I was given, a 1985 Buick Regal. My first stick was my Prelude, after I had graduated, moved out, got a real job, and learn how to drive stick. Just be patient, you'll get one when the time is right.
