Repair manual doesn't give any detail at all...and what kind of tools do you need?? I have like 150pc. socket set and other misc. tools

LOL...

What type of repair manual do you have? I've done timing belt replacement on 3 different Hondas using 3 different manuals. All of them had every detail needed to do the job including pictures and captions.

Chilton
Free PDF version from internet
These all show EXACTLY how to do the job.

Honestly though, if you have no experience working on any cars, then a T-belt job is prob too difficult for you...
It is definitely not something you should do the first time by yourself, without someone experienced to work with you.
But, it CAN be done with just the manual.
You will def need a chain wrench to remove the pulley...

No I have experience...I replaced the engine in my car but when I switched out the T-Belt the engine wasn't in the car...So I don't know how to do it while its in the car

Well, if you have experience and you've replaced the engine in your car, then the T-Belt job shouldn't be too difficult for you.
It's not really that much harder in the car than on a stand... Just more of a PITA...
Just pick up a manual, free or otherwise, and check out the directions for doing the T-Belt. They assume that the engine is IN the car, so it should be pretty much easy to follow.

do not do it yourself! i just did one on a 87 teg with the zc in my freinds drive way and it was hell!! its worth the 800 bones to let honda do it.. an independant shop would be cheaper, but you want to replace everything in there...belts tensioners, idlers, and water pump..dont cheap out on the deal cause you might as well do it all while you in there. a failure of any of those components would be catostrophic to the engine
