Yeah i found a nice rod & piston combo from JE for $1100 and I'll just find another GSR crank. 12.4:1 with Carrillo H beams.

Of course the guys over in the Prelude forums tell me to put an H22 in it like a true Prelude but I love my B.
I vote you try for i-Vtec k20a type S. I am B-series fan to, but if I had the money. I buy an RSX type S or RSX JDM type R engine. Then take my B18C1 put in a CRX hf, or a 94 civic Si hatchback. Just because I saw a 97 civic EX w/ a k20 and header spank a 4.8L V8 mustang GT on the 1/8 drag strip.

If i could afford a K20a then maybe. But all I have is a B18C1 with a spun crank bearing. I can find another crank for cheap and the rod piston combo I want is 1100 so all in all I can have a very strong B18C for like 13-1500.. I cant get a K20a and trans for that price.

Yes I am. I did the swap myself and to be honest all I need is the manual and Ive got a boatload of tools over at dads house. To be honest, I dont trust anyone to even touch my car with a sponge lol

Ive torn it down once before but only to replace some seals, water pump, new head, adj timing gears, etc. Thats why i love the B18... I know it well enough, I have plenty of tools, and its a learning experience for me.
