i'd assume like most other honda engines that the h23 is interference and that there might be problems with the valvetrain if the timing was that off

so if my camgears were off by 1 teeth and my timing belt is hella off, my valves may be messed up?

i bought a 93si once with a broken timing belt and 12 of the valves were bad.

was it a broken timing belt or a timing belt that was kind of off?
