A Lude that is NOT automatic beats a GSR I have done it numerous times and I was stock, I also beat 2 gt-s's no problem, also a few rsx type S. Depending on the driver really but they may be tanks but they arent as slow as most hondas stock.
i dont belive you...cuz the kid that owned the lude owned an audi TT an tracked it all the time... he was an exellent driver...the kid driving the GSR was my roomate...not a great driver but beat him by more then 5 feet..the GT-s was me an trust me the GT-S dusted the lude by far....and considering ur sign on name 99prelude SH im guessing you have a SH model..the slower model out of the two..why cuz it whiehs even more then the non sh...the RSX type S dont kid ur self...o yea i forgot the other one that beat the lude was a VR6 golf that follows under ur catagory as FWD N/a ...trust me im not a VW fan but stock vs stock the LUDE doesnt stand a chance....dont try to convince your self its not worth the depression itll cause later on..im sure theres a whole bunch of other people on this web site thatll agree with me...
I ran a 15.2 COMPLETELY STOCK, they say the Sh runs 15.4 stock. I have the time slip somewhere at my parents house to even proove that too. Like I said IT DEPENDS ON THE DRIVER. Not everyone is professional material. And YES I did beat an rsx-s.
he rsx-s is roughly about 3000 thats with about a 16-170lbs person. It redlines at about 8100 rpms and has 200hp and a measly 143 trq, they say they run 14.8s but I have seen ONE completely stock rsx-s run a 15.1. I have seen many run and not yet have I seen a 14.8 come out of that or anything close.
A vr-6 has a bit more tq so it should rape the rsx-x right off the line but in the top end it should be about even. It 0-60 is about 6.5 where as the rsx-s is about 6.1.
But Like I said I have yet to see someone hit that 14.8 here in STL.

i don't see any GS-R faster than a 15.2 in there. So that would come down to the driver.

Maybe your
cause you were proven wrong, but there is no need to say something like that... How could you justify what you just said, that it is a fact that women are liars?? You are crazy...As for the comments about the Prelude, you are retarded...
How is it a tank? Oh, if it's not a svelte civic, at 2200 lbs, then I guess it's a tank? WTF Every car on the road then is a tank? WTF...
Go ahead and talk about weight, who cares? Lemme guess, considering your name is Mr22na, you have an H22a in a civic, congrats, now try and drive a road course wthout spinning out...
So, I should just sell my SH and go buy an h22 powered civic?
Nope, I've got an EG with a B16/GSR head, LS pistons, and a custom turbo kit hitting 14 lbs of boost... This is my beater car, my lude is my daily driver, GET IT?
Already your comments are digging you a hole you can't get out of...
You are saying that a prelude got smoked by a 4-door gsr?? Impossible, given identical drivers. Besides, it's all in driver skill, if you still don't understand that, then your hopeless...
Here, let me clear it up for ya, the guy driving the prelude can't drive if he gets smoked by a 4-door gsr...

actually that last post was the owner of the TYPE S not me..sorry for the confussion...Mr22na = my MR-2 2.2 non turbo untill i turboed it with a 3sgte swap...soon TwinTurbo camry V6... the prelude indeed lost to the 4 door GSR..the drive of the luder is a weekend track driver...quite frankly an honestly hes a sick driver...it was his beater car but it was very nice...im not hating on the lude i like it a lot only saying that its under powered for its wieght...theres no way that a lude can beat a type S either
Some of what you said was true and COULD happen but most of the time it won't happen with a decent driver. And PLEASE OH PLEASE let me know what your friend ran in a COMPLETELY bone stock Rsx-s...time slip would be great too.
listen idc what u say theres no way a LUDE specailly an SH can beat a type S unless grandma was driving the type s.... as far as the gsr yes the driver would be a factor i suppose... ironicly the better driver was in the Lude...
