Default Headers?

Right now im in the market doing some research on what kind of 4-2-1 header I wanna buy.. I have a 98 Prelude (non SH).. I have installed an AEM cold air intake.. I lowered my car 1.5in... And have 18s on... I wanna get a header that I not going to bottom end on...and get some good gains.. and looking to spend about $3-500.. I've looked in to Greddy and DC sport. Also how much difference is the stainless steel vs. the ceramic coat? meaning gains and noise wise...lemme know.

Let me list this for you

1.) Header is singular not plural
2.) 18's are too big
3.) HP gain is minimal

I have 18's thought they looked ok,took them off for the winter, but then I saw someone with 18's on a lude DIDNT like it at all. But to each his own.

Anyways a header wont give you more than maybe 10-15 hp depending on what you go with. If you have money do the whol Mugen header back exhaust for sure. But im partial to mugen things.

I don't expect a header to give me more than 10-15 hp but I wanna get some gains for now and its an effective way to get it until i get some more money... I just wanna know a reliable header thats not gonna leak or rust on me... that has some good gain.. but not over the price range I said.

sorry but no header is going to give you 10-15hp gains unless you go with a big money custom piece like rmf or smsp. a dc or greddy you can expect maybe 4-5hp. get whichever one you like the most and can afford, they both do the same thing.

And thats why I said depending on what you go with. And My friend got a mugen header and it sure enough gained 12 hp, but thats a more high dollar header.
