Default h22 head question

I just bought a h22 head for my '92 2.3 prelude. My buddy said all i need is a ls vtec kit for the swap. Is that all i need??

you need quit a bit more than that, but getting the vtec solenoid, vtec valve, and oil sending unit is a start but you still need to re-solder your ecu so all those things run at the right time and all I can say is that I pondered the idea on my 94si. and wow what a pain in the ass for an extra 1000 rev limit, tell your buddy to work on his thoughts before he starts making you spend money
