Default h22 won't rev past 6800, vteec problems.

So I've posted this numerous places with no help or anyone to actually find the problem yet. So the problem I have is that when I try to engage Vtec, it works fine all the way till 6300-6800 then it cuts out, no back fire or misfireing, just cut's out for about 3 seconds then if I try to get back on it Vtec won't engage for about 10 seconds, so I gotta wait then it will engage fine, but still won't rev past this point. I just find it odd how it dosen't give me a cel for this.So if anyone could help me that would be great!. Useing a p13, only cel is egr, oil level is fine, Cleaned Vtec solenoid,

I can't fix the egr cause I don't have all the parts for it, the h22 is in my integra, it was working fine for 2 weeks then i ran into problems. And the redline on a h22 is 7200, fuel cutoff is 7800... I'm not sure where ur getting ur info. I can find millions of ppl and threads to vouch for me on that one.

Have you changed your oil recently? This is a serious question too.

Well the problem is the ECU then....if you want to ruin your engine and raise the redline....than chip the ECU.
