Or you could go junkyard diving. That usually yields the fastest results for me.

I meant it as you are another one of those people trying to convert an auto to a manual...........get the tranny first and go from there

i was thinking about doing a h23 hybrid... but it looks like it is just too much work.. so just going with an h22 swap... then swapping the auto for manual.. cause everyone knows manual is fun to drive... plus i am trying to to get up to 300 horses... that is my goal..

I've got a friend here in Texas that has a 93 with a blown engine, it's an automatic, around 800.

I wouldn't even bother converting an auto to a manual. The work involved to do it and do it correctly isn't worth the end result. Pedal assembly, trans, hoses for hydraulic clutch, new center consle, shift linkage, shifter, and new ecu... I know everybody thinks driving stick is so cool and automatics are not, but seriously, if you wanted a manual trans, you should have just bought a car with one in it, instead of spending all that loot to have something that originally cost less than an automatic model. Waste of time and money. Driving stick doesn't make you cool. Get over it.
