just call em up-majestic honda aka hondautomotiveparts... they should help you out..
also maybe hondapartsdeals.com, just fuond them today while searching for a hood.
called everywhere.... nobody has a damn thing! one prelude came to the junkyard less than a week ago near me, and it already sold its hood, bumper and fender, two of which i needed : (
not another one? what is that suppose to mean... lol... i was looking for a project car.. and i got one.. now just ahve to fix it and put it back together.. it is a 95 prelude with an h23 in it.. and it is an auto .. so i am converting it to a manual for sure... but still wondering if i should drop an h22 motor in it .. or stick with the h23..
I meant it as you are another one of those people trying to convert an auto to a manual...........get the tranny first and go from there
i was thinking about doing a h23 hybrid... but it looks like it is just too much work.. so just going with an h22 swap... then swapping the auto for manual.. cause everyone knows manual is fun to drive... plus i am trying to to get up to 300 horses... that is my goal..
i am searching for 92- 96 prelude parts. specifically a front clip.. does anyone know were i might be able to find one.. any help would be greatfully appreciated.. thanks
I've got a friend here in Texas that has a 93 with a blown engine, it's an automatic, around 800.
I wouldn't even bother converting an auto to a manual. The work involved to do it and do it correctly isn't worth the end result. Pedal assembly, trans, hoses for hydraulic clutch, new center consle, shift linkage, shifter, and new ecu... I know everybody thinks driving stick is so cool and automatics are not, but seriously, if you wanted a manual trans, you should have just bought a car with one in it, instead of spending all that loot to have something that originally cost less than an automatic model. Waste of time and money. Driving stick doesn't make you cool. Get over it.
