maybe check cb7tuner.com or hondatech.com for technical specifics on how to do it. It's really not as hard as people are making it sound. I almost pulled off an H23 head on an F22 block. I was told to use the wrong head gasket though so the engine failed, but beyond that, it's a basic deal. Triple check which head gasket to use, make sure of any spots in the head that may need to be filled, get the right VTEC components and ECU and drop it in, not a big thing.

i know, it's like...buy block, assemble=190hp stock rather than playing with combonations that might not work.

lol, it's funny how the most obvious solutions are the least obvious.

eh well folks this thread is dead, but i just met in NH with a bunch of tuners, and they praised this idea after seeing the h23 on the dyno. It had 160 ft/lb at 3500 rpm, and it had pretty good tq numbers across the board. not sure if the h22 alsoo has this, but these guys seemed to be saying that it definitely had an advantage on the low end over the 22. Having a 70k h23, would a h22 head make sense? Id say id like to boost either way. To boost or not too boost is not the question, too swap heads and boost or just to boost is the question. I just dont want to hit a wall with the h23 that could have been avoided if i gave it higher revving capabilities with the h22.

aww but i like my motor... im just not sure if its worth getting a new head or just skipping to the boosting(which would require building up bottom end, from what i understand.) my dream would to have a bi turbo setup, one spooling up very quickly to accompany for its honda characteristics aka lack of low end power.

If your going to boost or supercharge, it would be a good idea to beef up the bottom end, sleeve the cylinders. You can do all kinds of stuff with these motors, however if it is just a daily driver, keep it stock, the H23 has plenty of power, enough to get you a whole book full of traffic tickets.
