LMAO!!! He didn't say when it happens, of where it's coming from. Could be anything from the ebrake handle to the exhaust heat sheilds!

LMAO as well THAT DESERVES :stupid:

I love how some people decide what the problem is without getting more info.

Anyway...if its coming from the back of the car could be anything same goes for the engine. You need to give more info and better description. We not mind reads here you know.

Is your car dropped... if so then it might be shock knock when going over the bumps.

If its from the inside might be loose dash or as in my car a broken headrest

If coming from engine bay... well... anything goes there.

You should give a list of mods that you did, that way it would be better and easier to pin point the probklem.

Also be clear as to what kind of a noise it is, is it more of a squeak or a metal rattle or just some rubbing.

Did you have this noise before and when or how long ago did you get and after what mod did it start.

I dont see how a rattling noise could be the timing belt tensioner though..... The newer ludes have had a lot of complaints of rattling such as the sunroof making a noise when its open, the trunk etc...... the timing belt tensioner will make more of a GRRRRRRR sound only on deceleration if I am correct.........

so what happen with this noise? do you get it fixed?

I have a 99 prelude, manual tran., and I hear this rattle when I'm decelerate to a stop.

Dealership says it's my timing tensioner bearings. $600!!!! just wanted to know if fixing the bearings fixed your the problem before I start looking at getting this fixed somewhere.
