ok so at about 3-3500 there is this real loud rattle. i took off the heat shields and replaced the gaskets including the donut and the 2 cirlce ones in the 2-1 header... what the hell is rattling

 

where is the rattle comeing from?

 

Broken weld in the header. There was a recall for it. I have a '95 Integra as well.

 

check the header bracket. on the collector (tube before joining the cat) there is a black bracket that keeps the assembly stable. This bracket bolts to the engine block. It's more than likely this bracket snapped and rattles.

I talk from experience. Mine broke, rattled at the same RPMs, so i removed it and never replaced it.
