Default wierd Annoying noise

I've recently been noticing a noise sometimes like a faint "knock" and then it goes away. Also this doesn't happen all the time so im confused. I notice it sometimes when i turn or when im stopped completely and put it into first and start to drive. I dont know what it is but it is starting to bother me . This noise is also coming from what sounds to be under the steering wheel by my clutch. And i dont think i hear this noise after the car has been running for a while. I tend to notice it a lot more when the car is still warming up. (like when i start her up in the morning and after a day of school, like when the engine is still sorta cold i guess) So ANY help would be much appreciated!! Thanx

kinda sounds like one or both of the otuer cv joints are gone

look under the car and see if any of the rubber boots are ripped on the cv axles

if so that is most likely your problem

I checked both my CV joints the other day and they were fine- no leaks or tears. I was also informed that this noise could be my tie rod?

I have the same problem. There are a few of us here with the same issue.

I took mine to the dealer - but it never seems to make the noise when they drive it

I haven't heard it in awhile. The noise seems to come back during cold weather.
