drilled cat... check engine light is on
I just drilled out a 1.5 inch hole through the middle of my stock cat converter to give me some boost till my high flow cat comes...
The check engine light is now on... Im guessing this is just to tell me the exhaust isnt clean or is it a more serious problem?
Also would it benefit me at all to make the hole 2" like the rest of the exhaust and maybe put a pipe down the middle to completely bypass the cat?

Well, asside from ruining a $600.00 converter, your car's computer management system sees the problem as well.
Personally, I would have just waited untill your new converter came before I did anything. Now your stock cat is absolutely useless garbage.
You will not pass e-check or any emissions verification with your check engine light on. If you replace the converter with one that is street legal and will not damage the emissions computer (O2 sensors, ECM, etc.), you should have the computer codes reset.
Do not drive it without a cat, unless you are planning on using the car strictly for racing purposes only.

yea I realize im killing mother nature... its only temporary shell be fine
but anyways... is the check engine light on because of the fact that the exhaust isnt being filtered or is it likely something else?
and should I reset the sensors now that theres a big ass hole in the cat or will it adjust automatically?

The check engine light is on because the exhaust temps, pressure, oxygen and CO levels are not within operating parameters. No matter how many times you reset the computer the check engine light will come on untill the converter is replaced - along with whatever else has been damaged as a result thereof. I couldn't tell you what if anything else has been damaged. You need to replace the cat first, then have a diagnostic run to make sure everything else is fine.

It will. You might as well just leave it on untill you get everything fixed.
Unless you like clearing your radio presets every other day.
