Default my lude wont start!!!

hey pplz. i need major help. i bought a lude bout 2 weeks ago. it wont start. i have replaced the dist. cap, dist. rotor, plugs, wires, ign. coil, ignition module (igniter) is still good cuz i had it tested, new batt, starter, etc. i dont know wut to do! it just keeps turning over but it doesnt start. im gettin frustrated. plz help!!

check your fuel filter and your fuel pump if it is turning over it might be a fuel problem. so replace your fuel pump and you fuel filter and you should be good to go

Main Fuel Relay, change that too bout 60bucks

Yeah, sounds like it could be the main relay. Before you run out and replce it, turn your key to the ON position (don't crank the car) and listen for the relay to click. You could also remove the relay, take the cover off and inspect it.

a guy that looked at my car found that one of the prongs inside one of the dist. plugs had backed out and wasn't making connection, he put it back in and she cranked

Damn you replaced all that stuff and still no start? That sucks. I also agree with either the fuel pump or main relay.

you're on the right track. you need fuel, spark, and compression. you're missing one of the three. sounds like you have spark pretty well covered. when you turn the key to on (the cluster lights up, but before you try to start it) do you hear the fuel pump whirring?

HEY here's a stupid question. what year lude and is it an original key or a hardware store copy? the newer ludes have a chip in the key (immobilizer) without it, the car will crank but not start.

its a 1992 and its the original key. any help with fixing or buying is appreciated. thanx! :rockon:
