my lude wont start!!!
probably. the fuel pump itself is actually under the back seat. so you're probably getting fuel. i want some of the experts to chime in here and give you some more useful advice because i've just about run out of my knowledge here.
thanx a lot for the help. greatly appreciated
im kinda out of ideas also. all i have left to do is to check all my grounds for the thousandth time and replace the main pgm-fi relay. i could use some more advice though!

is there any kind of alarm installed on the car? some alarms have an ignition kill which will prevent the car from starting. also, try the main relay if you haven't yet. at this point, the problem has to be something so stupid that we've all overlooked it. are the plug wires on in the right order? you're sure everything is hooked up right and making good connection? there's not some stupid sensor somewhere that you left unplugged by accident?
yes there was an alarm installed on the car but i removed it and put all the wires back together like they are supposed to be. if this car does have an ignition kill switch...do u know where it would be located? all the plug wires are hooked up according to honda specs. im pretty sure everything is hooked up right. the only thing i am gonna go back n check are all the grounds on the car. that is gonna be a pain in the @$$! wish me lots n lots of luck!
i do wish you the best of luck! if there is an ignition kill it would be part of the alarm, so look up the specs of that alarm and try to figure out where it would be...? has the car run since you removed the alarm? and have you searched on honda-tech yet? there's more activity on that board so there might be more up-to-date information. that car did not come stock with an ignition-kill that i'm aware of. to be honest i'm baffled. it sounds like you've covered all your bases and dealt with everything that could possibly be wrong with your car. it's time to start trying random stuff, like borrowing someone else's ecu to see if that solves it. if you're getting fuel and you have compression, it's gotta be spark. and do you have a helms manual on hand? if you look around this board and others you can find it in pdf format. IMMENSELY useful!
Friend - we are in the same boat damnitt!! My 91 lude does the same thing, I replaced the wires, rotor, and cap. Now as far as fuel goes; just loosen the banjo bolt a 1/4 turn on the fule rail and turn her over - if you have fuel pressure you will know it with a small mess. I have pressure.
My problem is I got 12 volts up to the cap, but not going out through the wires, I am about to take that back and get a new one?
Does your ECU flash any codes - its under the passenger side rug where the feet go.
write back if you found your problem

If it just all the sudden doesn't start up anymore without any sign, then im not so sure its the main relay, normally or what happened to me and anyone else I know that this happened to it generally will start up and then either because of the really hot day (raises resistance of the electrical flow on the wires to the relay) or because they went on say a decent little road trip and the engine just got that hot, then after shutting it off; like to get gas or something. Around 2 mins later when they go to start the car then you can't get it to start. However for it to not start at all and you replaced all those things my only other guess of the top of my head is TIMING. when I accidently set my timing 90 degrees off my motor sat there and cranked and cranked with no problem but it never started or even thought about it. Which is when I started looking at everything like you did that goes with intake, fuel, spark, combustion. Even if your timing belt is missing teeth or beginning to, that would cause this type of problem as well, but what I think it is, is CAM TIMING especially if your timing belt is old or you had just done something relating to your head or timing of the engine. The only other thing that strikes me is if you overfilled your engine with say a 1/2 to 1 quart of oil more than it recommends on the dipstick; if you have a bad distributor O-ring than a lot of oil can and normally will run into your cap which would cause no spark to the terminals. If none of this was what the case is then deffinetly replace the main fuel relay before you spend anymore money on other external parts because it is one of the cheapest and could be a possiblity, goodluck, and let me know what you come up with.
