hondadealer service
Hey,i just spend lot of money fixing my 96 prelude si in a regular mechanic shop.they fix the car and after few day the problem came back ,but no guaranteed work. Anyone know, if i bring my car to hondadealer service will they guaranteed there work, I mean if not fix it right the first time and won't be charge if i have to bring it in again.
I would fight the mechanic for wrongful service and if anything involve the BBB (Better Business Bureau)...or at least threaten that you will contact them and get them involved...you might get your repair fixed no charge. A Honda dealer wont merit someone elses work unlesss you have a honda warranty still, which for a 96 is impossible to still have a warranty.
Sorry to hear all the problems man

i think honda dealers provides warranty on their own work about like 12,000 miles/12 months, so if you don't get anything fixed at honda dealers, bring it to them, they should correct the problem for free.
Actually that could be the best thing to do. What you do is pay about 80$ for a diagnosttic to find out exzactly whats wrong. Then once they find it pay them and have them fix it. Now it may be costly of course, but they guarentee there work and for that to be the problem becuase if it sitll gives u the problem u don't pay for what they did.

here's something to try. honda has something called the president's award, which goes to dealers with excellent customer satisfaction. if you go to honda's website, you might be able to find a local dealer that's EXCELL certified (president's award). then you know you're going to get good service. for the big jobs, it's worth spending the extra money to have the dealer do it. timing belt changes, valve adjustments, etc. the difference in cost is much more than worth it for the peace of mind.

I have 18s but its stock suspension and I have a about inch gap still but I'ma leave it cuz my kit is 2 low already. I would suggest 17s though and lower it good enough so that it's not rubbin. As long as u get a good brand ur ride should stil be good, I would go with skunk2.
