Default Pelude questions????

alright so i made a post earlier aobout buying a prelude because my accord is breaking down on me (heater and a/c just went out a few days ago to add to the long list of problems ive had with it)

anyways ive been reading up on the prelude but i haven't found any info about its 0-60 times or it 1/4 miles..if any has this info or where i can find it let me kno

i also heard the prelude was considered "heavy"...anybody who owns one let me kno if this is true or if its still a quick car

You don't say what generation of prelude that you are looking at. The Preludes are a heavier car, compaired to something like a civic. But then again, if you're looking at a Prelude, you're also looking at it's styling, the Prelude's most pronounced feature.

if you're looking at the base model, you may want to consider a 4th gen (92-96) vtec. only 5 less hp, but 300 lbs lighter. that's the fastest lude

ive looked into those but so far i havent run in to too many while ive been lookin...seems liek around here they're hard to find (seattle)

the 5th gen lude is by far the best lookin prelude tho...i could live with it being heavier than the 4th gen...im not really plannin on tryin to put out 500hp or anything just want something that looks good with decent power
if i did end up buying the 5th gen lude i think id try to get it close to 300 hp but once i get there ill be satisfied for now

now that's one bad-ass car. there's not much out there that handles like that. you should check it out.
